The Problem

Who is carrying out the experiment? What are our roles and responsibilities?

Currently we manufacture pendant with loop in different die and then solder the loop and pendant together. This is time consuming process specially in case of under 10 category where order quantity is usually high. More labour cost is required for soldering,

The Outcome

What are we hoping to achieve through this experiment?

The outcome will be increase in productivity at every stage of production, also saving time and cost. The quality of loop and pendant is also improved and low rejection in QC

The Hypothesis

What is our hypothesis?

IF: we cast the pendant and loop together BY: adding side support to the loop and pendant WILL: we will achieve the entire piece in one casting and reduce in soldering cost and time BECAUSE: We will be able to cast and work on both parts together

The Results

How will we know our hypothesis is true or false?

The assumption is true if we are able to manufacture more pendants in a given time frame using this technique and improve on quality will less QC rejection.
