Not In Location (NIL)

NIL stands for "Not in Location," which means absence of a product at it’s designated location in the warehouse is NIL. For an instance, Whenever a customer places an order and a picker goes to find the product in the bin wherever it's kept through a barcode but upon inspection when found out that it's not in the designated location. This problem results in a loss in revenue, negative customer experience and loss in labour productivity. Please share your creative ideas on the challenge.
